Here at Lincoln Health we are searching for a Patient Registrar to work closely with our clinic staff in our Specialty Clinic. The Patient Registrar will assist with registering patients to receive medical services, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while obtaining demographic information, validating insurance, and collecting payments. The registrar answers and/or refers questions received from patients, visitors, and staff. This position also requires knowledge with scheduling and contacting patients regarding appointments. The registrar will be expected to perform clerical duties necessary for the workflow process of multiple providers to see patients in one office.
Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or G.E.D. Health care education and/or experience is highly desirable. Medical Terminology and/or Anatomy and Physiology course helpful. Strong communication and customer service skills. Computer proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with Electronic Medical Records system. Be a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Certified Nurse Aide (CNA).
Compensation: Pay is dependent upon experience and qualification.
